MEET BRAD LYONS    MEET BRAD LYONS

Growing up, Brad Lyons saw himself as a professional baseball player with music being just a hobby.  But while attending Bedford High School (Toledo, Ohio area), it started to become apparent that music was going to be much more than a hobby.  At the age of 14-years old, Brad wrote his first song that was recorded by a small recording label in Hollywood, California.  While only 1,500 copies were sold, it was certainly a great-start for a kid just starting high-school.  During high-school, Brad made a name for himself around the Toledo music community as a highly talented keyboardist.  Shortly after graduation in 1993 through the friend of a friend, Brad accepted a position as the lead keyboardist for a professional touring production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".  After an extended period of time on-tour, Brad's love of baseball returned and decided to head off to college to play division I baseball.  During the summer of 1995, Brad again decided to take a touring position as a keyboardist for the classic musical "South Pacific".  But when baseball season rolled around, Brad realized he was at a crossroads in his future and chose music.  He left school to attend the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio and then left for a sales position at a small music equipment retailer in Connecticut.  Shortly after arriving in Connecticut, Brad met up with Brian Weapon whom would be his future business partner.  Brian was the drummer for the hit New England rock-band Via Sattelite and was forming a new progressive rock band ("SPECTRE") when he became acquainted with Brad while upgrading his recording studio.  Brian asked Brad to be his engineer allowing him to focus on the aspects of the band and not the production.  In addition, the two grew their private production studio to a level that rivaled the sound and quality of some of the area's best recording studios around.  Although now in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a Senior Sales Engineer for Sweetwater Sound, Brad is still involved in the production of SPECTRE.  IFor more information on the ground-breaking music of this up and coming progressive rock band, please visit  www.spectreusa.com
